Mark has lived in the US since 1989, initially working for a civil engineering company in LA, and land planning in Portland since 1991. Over the last 35 years his work has spanned pretty much all forms of land use planning development, and project management, from Town design, massive commercial, industrial, and mixed use developments, all the way down to small residential partitions, and subdivisions.

Mark now focuses on smaller local projects, preferring to stay within an hours drive of all projects. He usually works with local developers / builders, and has a better work / life balance.

Mark is an member of the APA, and AICP, has a masters from PSU in Urban planning, and has written multiple articles, and taught classes at PSU. He is currently involved in several affordable housing initiatives, and organizations
